DR. GÁBOR POZDERKA

Born in Szolnok in 1976, Dr. Gábor Pozderka graduated cum laude in 1999 and then obtained an excellent law degree in 2003. He is also a qualified tax adviser and has negotiation skills in English.
From 1999 to 2005, he was a legal rapporteur, legal adviser and then head of department in the general management of a multinational insurance company. Since 2005 he has been working as a lawyer in his law firm specialising in commercial law, company law and labour law. His experience as a legal adviser makes him particularly suited to providing flexible legal advice to companies, similar to an in-house lawyer.
DR. BENCE NAGY

Bence graduated cum laude from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2015. Afterwards he worked at a leading insurance company in the field of advanced claims management and joined our firm in 2018 as a trainee lawyer. He became a member of our office in 2022, after passing the bar exam. In the meantime, he has completed his studies at the University of Pécs, specialising in labour law. He specialises in civil litigation, insurance law and labour law.
He is the proud father of two children.
DR. BENEDEK DÁNIEL VARGA

Dr. Benedek D. Varga is a senior attorney at Pozderka & Partners Law Firm, specializing in the broader field of business law and construction law.
He obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2017. Following graduation, he worked as a trainee lawyer at Pozderka & Partners Law Firm for four years, primarily focusing on dispute resolution in matters related to business law, compensation law, and insurance law. Later, he joined one of Hungary’s long-established construction companies as a legal counsel. In July 2024, he rejoined our firm as a senior attorney.
In his work, Benedek always considers the need to adapt to the constantly evolving economic and legal environment of the modern world. As a result, he provides progressive, creative, and decisive legal solutions—bold when necessary, yet always stable and reliable—for our clients.
DR. JÁNOS SKAPINYECZ

I graduated from the University of Miskolc in 2000 and became a member of the Budapest Bar Association in the same year.
I specialise in criminal law and represent clients accused of almost all types of criminal offences, as well as victims of crime. I also have extensive experience in family law cases, particularly divorce and related ancillary issues and proceedings, as well as property division.
I have been working with Pozderka & Partners Law Office for more than ten years, we are able to provide our clients with efficient, coordinated, high-quality representation in complex, multi-disciplinary cases where appropriate. I am guided in my work by thoroughness, empathy, and a strong advocacy of our clients’ interests.
DR. BOGLÁRKA MACZKÓ

Dr. Boglárka Maczkó after earning her law degree with cum laude honors, gained practical experience in public administration before obtaining her bar exam in 2005. She also earned a specialization in European Union law. In 2024, she completed mediator training and now focuses on out-of-court dispute resolution solutions at our firm.
DR. GÁBOR PINTÉR

Gábor Pintér graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Miskolc. He subsequently worked in a ministry and for law enforcement agencies as a legal advisor, internal data protection officer, and senior legal executive. In 2018, he obtained a specialized legal qualification in data protection and has since been active as a data protection officer and consultant. He has extensive experience in data management issues across the public, municipal, and multinational sectors. He has participated in the auditing and development of data protection systems for municipalities, budgetary institutions, and large corporations. His hobbies include cycling and traveling.
DR. NIKOLETT DEMETER-SZATMÁRI

She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of ELTE, Budapest, in July 2021. In October 2021, she joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office as a trainee lawyer, since then she has been involved in litigation, real estate law, claims management, corporate law and company law. In June 2024, she graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University Institute for Continuing Legal Education in corporate and company Law.
She has excellent English and speaks Russian at a conversational level.
DR. HENRIETTA BANGÓ

In 2023, she successfully graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Prior to that, in 2016, she graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eötvös Loránd University, with a degree in Social Studies. In addition, she participated in the MCC College of Junior and International Relations.
She holds a French language certificate from the Hungarian-French bilingual section of the Petőfi Sándor Secondary School and Mechanical Engineering College in Aszod, and has an intermediate level of English.
During her university years, she gained experience as a trainee in civil law firms and was a member of the Academic Student Circle of the Civil Law Department for two years. She then worked for the Ministry of Interior and the Hungarian State Treasury, among others.
This year she joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office as a trainee lawyer and in the future she would like to further deepen her knowledge in the framework of the training of the insurance law specialists.
DR. MÁRK JELENFI

In our series introducing our colleagues, Dr. Jelenfi István Márk, a junior lawyer at Pozderka & Partners Law Office, specializes in tort law, as well as in private and public insurance law.
Márk graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Budapest, in July 2022. During his university years, he attached great importance to the study of insurance law, working as an intern in the legal department and service department of a leading international insurance company for almost a year, and wrote his studies, including his thesis, on the basis of this knowledge.
In May 2022, he joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office as a legal assistant, and after graduation he continued his activities as a trainee lawyer, which was complemented by litigation representation on courts. Since September 2023, he has been studying at the Eötvös Loránd University Institute of Legal Training in the field of Insurance Law.
DR. ZALÁN ZOLTÁN VARGA

Areas of expertise: civil law (contract law), legal advice.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, in May 2021. During his university years, he showed a special interest in civil and administrative law.
After graduating from the University, he worked in various positions; in public administration, in the courts and in the competitive sector. He wrote his diploma thesis on the legal application of foreign exchange as this was also an area of particular interest to him.
He joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office in March 2024. His responsibilities include litigation, handling warranty cases, general legal activities and legal advice.
Currently, he is particularly interested in the relationship between artificial intelligence and law and is researching how this technology can be effectively applied in legal practice.
DR. SÁNDOR PÉTER MÉSZÁROS

He obtained his law degree in the summer of 2022 from the Faculty of Law at ELTE University, following that, he has started to work as a trainee lawyer. In 2023, he graduated from the Hungarian University of Sport Science specializing in International Sports Relations – Sports Diplomacy. In 2024 he completed an International Sports Law LL.M. programme in Madrid, during which he worked as a legal intern for Real Madrid C.F. and then at the legal department of the international triathlon federation (World Triathlon).
In February 2025, he joined Pozderka and Partners Law Firm. He primarily focuses on Contract law, Real estate law, Debt collection, as well as litigation and non-litigation representation.
He speaks English fluently and Spanish at an intermediate level.

After years of experience in economics, marketing and HR positions, she has been working in legal fields since 2013, and since March 2017 she has been the office manager of Pozderka & Partners Law Office.
ZSUZSA KISS

In 1995 she graduated from the Árpád Fejeledelem Road Secondary School of Economics in Budapest.
From 1997 to 2014 she worked as an assistant to a private lawyer in Budapest.
She joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office in the second half of 2021 and has been working for the success of the firm every day since then.
Her work includes processing incoming correspondence and office backround work.

She is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and she is also a European Legal Specialist. She has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of real estate law, corporate law, contract law and data protection law. For years she has been a cooperating lawyer of Pozderka & Partners Law Office. She likes to solve problems, not just understand them.
DR. JÚLIA BALLA-TÓTH

I graduated from the Budapest School of Economics in 2001 as a commercial economist, and three years later from the University of Debrecen Faculty of Law. In the same year, 2004, I joined one of the country’s leading insurance companies, where, after almost a year as assistant to the Austrian CEO, I joined the legal department under the direction of the Chief Legal Counsel of the insurer. I was responsible for the full range of the insurer’s professional activities, from product development and underwriting to legal support for claims settlement and litigation. In 2007 I obtained a qualification as an insurance lawyer at the ELTE Faculty of Law and in 2008 I successfully passed the bar exam. In 2010, I graduated as a specialist lawyer in capital markets and banking at ELTE Law Faculty. After 13 years as a lawyer in the insurance sector, I continued my activities as a lawyer in 2019, focusing mainly on civil law. My professional experience covers both litigation and non-litigation, mainly in the field of insurance law (life, non-life insurance) and tort law, in addition to serving residental client needs. Language skills: fluent in German, confident using Italian and English in everyday language.
DR. ANDREA PRINCZ

She got her law degree in 2002. After graduation, she joined a law firm working in an international environment, working as a trainee lawyer in English. After obtaining a professional qualification, she set up her own law firm.
From 2013 to 2021, she conducted and developed public procurement procedures for the centralised procurement of medicines and other health consumables for health care institutions, first as an expert and later as a manager at the Health Care Services Ltd. As a Responsible Accredited Procurement Consultant, she countersigned the centralised procurement procedures.
From 2021, she became an independent lawyer again working on economic matters in English-Hungarian, and also acts as a Responsible Accredited Procurement Consultant for public procurement procedures, mainly for health care institutions and municipalities.
In 2022 she obtained a degree in Data Security and Privacy Law at ELTE.
RÓZA KELEMEN

She is currently a fifth-year law student at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, and she is interested in civil law.
She has an advanced level certificate in English and an intermediate level certificate in German.
She joined the firm in February 2023 and has been assisting lawyers, trainee lawyers and the secretariat with legal and administrative tasks.

MILÁN KASZA

In 2022, he graduated from the Károli Gáspár Reformed University with a degree in Commerce and Marketing, parallel to his studies he worked for two years as a commercial specialist.
After that, she graduated as a legal assistant at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University in February 2023, during which he joined Pozderka & Partners Law Office as a trainee. In the meantime, he successfully completed the paralegal training and now he studies law at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University since September 2023.
